Both the ceremony and the reception are taking place at Bella Cosa Lakeside Lodge in Lake Wales, Florida.

We are registered on The Knot, which you can access on this site under "Registry." We have items we need for our new home as well as a Honeymoon Fund and a New Home Fund. We are also registered on Honeyfund under Kathryn Novak and Michael Thaysen.

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal attire. Ladies should wear cocktail or long dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a long-sleeve shirt with jacket, tie, and slacks.

Historically, the high in Lake Wales for February is 77 degrees and the low is 51 degrees. Ladies might want to bring a shawl and men can wear jackets.

The ceremony will be outdoors while cocktail hour and the reception are both indoors. There will be a fire pit outside with warmers during the reception.

The bridal party will be taking pictures on the grounds for around an hour after the ceremony. Guests are welcome to attend Cocktail Hour and enjoy drinks and passed hors d'oeuvres.

Yes, there will be an open bar. Beer, seltzers, wine, and liquor.

The address to Bella Cosa Lakeside is 3111 Masterpiece Rd, Lake Wales, FL 33898. Plug the address into your GPS and it'll find you a way to get there! Also, feel free to park at the Courtyard Marriott in Winter Haven (Shuttle leaves for Bella Cosa at 2:45pm) or at the Hampton inn in Lake Wales (Shuttle leaves at 3:15pm) and the Shuttle will make runs back to these two hotels throughout the evening.

We recommend that you arrive an hour to a half an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Parking is free and there is a big parking lot on site at the venue for guests to utilize.

The only children that will be at the wedding are the one's that are in the wedding.

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If we indicate that you may bring a plus one on your invitation, please RSVP promptly with their name.

Yes, we have a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn in Lake Wales, Florida under the name Novak and at the Courtyard Marriott in Winter Haven, Florida. The links to our special rates are on the “Travel” tab. Feel free to stay there or in Winter Haven, Florida, or even in Orlando.

The RSVP deadline will be on the formal invitation to follow the Save the Dates. Please mail the RSVP card back to us so we have an accurate count for the day of the wedding.

Yes, food and drink will be served. Spirits will be served along with non-alcoholic drinks. There will be hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and a buffet dinner after the reception.

We will have keepsakes for you to take home; however, if you want a flower arrangement to take home and we have extras, simply ask us at the end of the reception.

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding there will be a gift table and card box for your convenience.
